With the apparent demise of fliggo, in terms of being able to continue to upload videos anyway, if anybody finds a similar service online can they post it here? The Ning seems to retain the YouTube embed code and I can't sneak it past school filte...

Hi. We met last year at the course you ran in London with regards to planning the new KS3 courses. I was going to send you my schools plans for integrated humanities but never did- Sorry! I have since moved on and am now working as a Head of Humanities in Camden. I will be recruiting a Head of Geog in the next few weeks, so spread the word if you know anyone suitable. You showed us some great resources on the topic of mobile phones - I was hoping to include it in a Year 7 integrated hums unit on communication. Any chance of showing me where i might be able to find it?
Regards
Mariella Scott
Sorry I didn't get details in as it was my first attempt! I resubmitted the same picture with a title and info; it is the lobby of the world's highest hotel in Shanghai, which is just next door to the world's tallest building. There is a lovely view of all the pollution available from the viewing deck. And it has to be said that the coffe was very good.
I will be inviting all my work colleagues to join this wonderful ning. Keep it up.
Hi David,
The Peak District was looking particularly good that day! I'm impressed with the DVD Pumpkin did on regeneration too.
Let me know when you have a bit of time. The format of the 'sessions' on the GTT site is much clearer now so worth a telephone conversation - and about the BBC stuff too. When do you sleep?

Hello David,
I immediately signed up this evening after your inset with HoDs in Surrey today. I am very interested in what others have to say about how they implement GIS in teaching (both at KS3 and for the new AS specs). I am on a very limited budget (aren't we all!).
Regards,
Rachel
Hi David!
Thanks for the welcome, sorry not been in touch much - I need some samples of assessment asap! I'll try and upload some resources asap. To start with there should be a couple of movies I put together for KS4 Geography - if they are any use!
Cheers, Caroline
Hi David! Valid point, I'll stick something on the forum later
Cheers, Claire

Hi David,
I think it is a great idea and i'll be telling the Geography teachers in my cluster schools to have a look and get involved. I've been looking for a while for a way to share EAL materials developed with Geog teachers- as they just tend to either stay in school (or leave along with colleagues). So thank you for setting up this network. It is a fab resource!!
all the best,
Leanne
