One of the many TGEs ('tactile geography experiences') offered on our Lake District study week. Students get to feel the loose angular frost shattered fragments in close up! While lying on the scree, they recite the 17th limestone psalm - a short description and explanation of scree formation.
from here, they climb the waterfall in Gordale, and move on to erratic rocking, pavement singing and racing ants along striations. Beginning to get the idea how we work in South Molton?
Nice dog!
